To enter Mongolia, your passport must be valid for at least six month after the date you arrive.
Your hotel will register you. If you are travelling independently or staying with friends, you must register yourself online with the Mongolian Immigration Agency.
Nationals from many countries can visit Mongolia without a visa for tourism purposes, including those listed in the chart above.

Mongolia issues short-term visa (K2), border visa (K3), and transit visa (K6) to tourists. Fees vary depending on one's nationality and where the application is being processed.
